Yes. Your Custom List data is stored only in your browser's localStorage and is never sent to our servers. You can use it for sensitive lists like employee names or confidential options, without anything leaving your device.

We use the Fisher-Yates shuffle, which produces a statistically uniform permutation. Every possible ordering of your list is equally likely, with no weighting by position or popularity. It draws on your browser's built-in random number generator, which is right for shuffling a team list or picking a winner, but is not cryptographically secure. Don't use it where money or security is at stake.

Yes. Every entry is a real establishment with its real city, and each card shows the source it was checked against: The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, the MICHELIN Guide, or a James Beard Award. We do not invent venue names to fill the tool.

Restaurants are verified against published guides and awards. The university list is hand-curated, with founding dates, country and institution type checked against public sources. The name lists are real given names grouped by cultural origin. We don't invent entries to pad a tool.

Yes. The site is fully responsive and optimized for touch on mobile and tablet devices.
